The Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in SIP received the approval from market regulation authority of East China’s Jiangsu province on Aug 21 for building a quality inspection and testing center for optoelectronic materials for third-generation semiconductors.

It is learned that the authority approved the plans for six provincial-level product quality inspection and testing centers at the same time, counting on them to provide technical services such as experimental studies and new product testing to support stronger development of key industries in the province.

The SINANO will design and build the quality inspection and testing center for optoelectronic materials for third-generation semiconductors based on the needs across the full industry chain. In addition to quality inspection and testing, the center will provide consultancy on policies and standards, export certification and other services.
