An event was held in SIP on Aug 6 to celebrate the completion of the Phase II project of Panasonic Factory Solutions Suzhou Co Ltd (PFSS), a branch of Japanese electronics conglomerate Panasonic.

Panasonic set up PFSS in SIP in 2003 for R&D and manufacturing of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines and solder paste printers. Its products are used for manufacturing of a wide range of products such as AI servers, new-energy vehicles and autonomous driving modules.

The new project, boasting an eco-friendly design and high-level automation, is expected to enable PFSS to double its output.
